Strict action is being taken against coronavirus SOPs in different cities of Punjab.
Assistant Commissioner City Faisalabad took action on a violation of Corona SOPs during a cricket match in Badar Colony in which more than 200 people had gathered during the final match.
Police arrested nine people for violating Corona rules and regulations and quarantined them at Government General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad while seizing 35 motorcycles and cricket equipment.
In Multan, Assistant Commissioner Shujaabad issued a warning to more than 100 people bathing in the swimming pool and released them, while sealing the swimming pool and hotel and registering a case against the owners.
On the other hand, the district administration sealed 12 shops in Bahawalpur for violating Corona SOPs, while 13 shopkeepers were fined Rs 21,000 and 8 shopkeepers were given warnings.
