Medical experts have sounded the alarm about Corona in the country and the number of infected people is expected to reach 4 million by July-August.
This has been revealed by the research of Geo News in which the opinions and statistics of independent medical experts from 4 major cities of the country have been examined.
Professor Ashraf Nizami, president of the Pakistan Medical Association Lahore, has expressed concern that the situation in Corona could become more dangerous next month, with the number of people infected with the corona virus rising to 3.5 to 4 million by July-August. Can reach 80 thousand.
Dow University of Health Sciences professor Saeed Khan has also expressed the same concerns that the number of corona patients currently appearing in Pakistan and the number of deaths may increase four to five times in the future.
Dr Masood Hiraj, president of the Pakistan Medical Association Multan, said the number of patients would rise to more than one million if people did not take precautions.
Medical experts also fear that the number of patients will increase as the rate of corona tests increases.
According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa private hospital administration, corona is spreading rapidly, but only 22% of people in the province are being tested. If more tests are done in public and private laboratories, the number of cases will increase by next month.
According to Professor Mukhtiar Zaman of a private hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, if 100,000 tests are performed daily in the province today, the number of cases could reach 25,000.
Dr. Shahid Rao, President, Doctors Pioneer Unit, Multan, says that a corona patient can spread corona to more than 10 people, so the number of patients is increasing and the number of positive reports in the country is increasing rapidly. Thousands, sometimes more than 6,000, these numbers could be even higher than what the government is saying.
Researchers claim that there are a large number of people in the country who are infected with Corona, but there is no record of them.
