Leading Bollywood musician duo Sajid Wajid’s Wajid Khan has died at the age of 42 due to a virus.
The duo had composed music for superstar Salman Khan’s hit films ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
Wajid Khan died at a Mumbai hospital on Monday. Leading Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has confirmed this in a Facebook post.
Wajid Khan’s brother Sajid Khan told the BBC’s Madhu Pal that Wajid Khan was suffering from the corona virus.

Wajid Khan’s family has also confirmed his death to the BBC.
His family also told that Wajid Khan was suffering from kidney disease and had undergone a kidney transplant two years ago.
“He had a throat infection and was admitted to Sorana Hospital in Mumbai’s Chambor area.”
