Leading search engine Google has released a community mobility report based on public mobility in Pakistan in the month of June in which data has been released regarding the movement of people affected due to lockdown.
In this report, Google surveys public movement at stations, workplaces, recreational areas and other places during the June lockdown.
According to the report, in the month of June, during the epidemic Corona virus in Pakistan, there was an overall decrease of 36% in public transport.
The report said that the movement of people at public transport centers, ie bus stops and stations, has decreased.
On the other hand, according to the Google Mobility Report June 2020, the movement of people in restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, theme parks, museums, libraries and cinemas has decreased by 39%.
The report further states that the movement trends in places like supermarkets, markets and pharmacies have declined by 26% while the trends in parks, beaches and other public places have declined by 17%. ۔
The report states that the number of people in the locations is based on Google Map data.
