National Airlines (PIA) has announced an increase in flights to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta.
A statement issued by the PIA spokesperson said that it has been decided to operate two daily flights from Islamabad to Karachi while daily flights will be operated between Lahore and Karachi.
The spokesman said that PIA’s two-way flights to the United Arab Emirates were also on the way to recovery.
According to a spokesman for the national airline, PIA also operates special flights to Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Central Asian states.
Recently, PIA had announced a reduction in domestic fares to a minimum one-way fare of Rs 12,000.
It may be recalled that due to the coronavirus, PIA’s domestic and international flights were suspended in March, after which the flights were partially resumed and now more flights are being resumed gradually.
