The ministry said in a statement that citizens of different countries residing in Saudi Arabia would also be able to perform Hajj and security measures would be ensured during the Hajj.
According to the ministry, social distance will be maintained to ensure the safety of pilgrims during the Hajj so that the objectives of Islamic law regarding the protection of human life can be achieved. It is estimated that more than 1,300 people have died of the corona virus in Saudi Arabia, while the number of infected patients is more than 161,000. On the other hand, the Saudi government has also lifted the lockdown due to Corona from June 22, after which normalcy has been restored.
